The CNC Operator will assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines under supervision to manufacture precision parts.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished parts.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
- Perform routine maintenance and clean work areas to ensure a safe environment.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures.
- Assist in troubleshooting basic machine issues.
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders (training provided).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- No prior CNC experience required; training will be provided.
- Basic math and mechanical skills.
- Ability to read and follow instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
Preferred (but not required)
- Technical school certification or coursework in machining.
- Experience with hand tools or mechanical work.
