If so, we have an excellent opportunity as a Computer Repair Technician at our Westminster, MD based location. We feel that our company is on the verge of exploding and we are looking to add a driven and knowledgeable Computer Repair Technician to provide high-quality, fast assistance to our growing customer base. Responsibilities Work on computer repair tickets by diagnosing and resolving issuesServe as a point of contact for customers seeking technical helpCheck customers in and outAssist with projectsConduct your work on-site, remotely, and in our shopDirect unresolved issues quickly to our next level of supportUtilize CRM software to document information, track your time, manage customers, etc.Identify and suggest improvements on our proceduresOther duties as assigned Requirements Proven experience as a computer repair technician, help desk technician, or other technical support role (1 year of experience preferred)Deep knowledge of the following: General PC Troubleshooting, Windows, Networking, Hardware, Software (especially Microsoft Office), and Mobile DevicesKnowledge of the following is a plus: Active Directory, Group Policy, Virtual Machines, Office 365 Administration including Exchange Online, etc.Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve common technical issuesExcellent people and communication skills with a commitment to understanding user requirementsCommitment to supporting new technologyValid Driver's License and a form of transportationAbility to lift up to around 40 pounds occasionallyExperience with technical documentation is a plus!Experience with programming and/or scripting is a plus!Degrees/Certifications are a plus! Other Important Notes Compensation varies by experience and number of hours scheduled
