Aerospace Program Manager

Role Overview

The Program Manager is responsible for owning customer programs end-to-end, ensuring alignment between customer expectations and internal execution.

This role sits at the center of the business—working across sales, engineering, production, and quality -- to drive on-time delivery, maintain accurate communication, and proactively manage risk.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, while also maintaining deep visibility into job status and ensuring work is progressing as planned internally.

This is a high-ownership role focused on execution, not just coordination.

Responsibilities

— Own assigned customer programs and jobs from order release through delivery

— Serve as the primary point of contact for customers

— Maintain accurate and timely job status updates

— Track progress across engineering, machining, and inspection

— Proactively identify risks to delivery and drive resolution

— Coordinate with engineering and production teams

— Ensure alignment between quoted scope and execution

— Manage customer requirements and performance metrics

— Communicate clearly on status, delays, and recovery plans

— Support continuous improvement in delivery performance

Qualifications

Required

— 5 years of experience in manufacturing or aerospace program management

— Familiarity with Prime aerospace portals (Boeing, LMCO, NG, Exostar, etc).

— Experience managing customer programs or complex jobs

— Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

— Strong communication skills

— High level of ownership and accountability

Preferred

— Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience

— Familiarity with customer portals and supplier scorecards

— Experience with ERP/MRP systems (JobBOSS or similar)

— Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T

— Experience in AS9100 environments

Location

Santa Ana, California (on-site)

Compensation

$80,000 – $135,000 (depending on experience and performance)

This salary range reflects our current good-faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may fall above or below this range and may be adjusted over time. Final pay will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, location, and overall business needs.
