SUMMARY
The Sales Manager oversees all aspects of North America sales operations for the Truss Manufacturing Division. This role is responsible for planning, developing, and executing short- and long-term sales strategies to expand market share, strengthen customer relationships, and drive revenue growth across all U.S. regions.The position requiresa strong understanding of structural truss manufacturing, rigging systems, and entertainment industry standards.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute U.S. sales strategyand business plans aligned with corporate goals.
- Identify and pursue new customer accounts, distribution partners, and market opportunities.
- Prepare and manage the annual sales budget and expense forecasts.
- Collect and analyze sales data for forecasting, markettrends, and new product development insights.
- Maintain currentmarket research identifying total market size, company share, and competitor performance by product category.
- Build and maintain a corporate CRM database of prospective and existing customers.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to the sales team, ensuringconsistent customer serviceand performance standards.
Customer Relations& Marketing Support
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customercontacts (purchasing, engineering, management, etc.).
- Support the Marketing Managerin planning tradeshows, exhibitions, and promotional events(e.g., Hoist & Rigging School).
- Deliver professional presentations to clientsand industry groups,highlighting technical advantages and application benefits of company products.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure quotations, designs,and technical specifications meet customer requirements.
- Follow up on quotations, ensuring timely communication and conversion of leads to orders.
- Identify customerfeedback trends to guide productdevelopment and serviceimprovements.
Technical Collaboration
- Review all custom projectinquiries for feasibility and alignment with company standards.
- Partner with the Designand Production, and on customprojects, providing technicalinsight and sales support.
- Ensure contractspecifications are reviewedand confirmed prior to order acknowledgment.
- Participate in system trainingand on-site productdelivery or demonstrations as needed.
Administration & Reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthlysales activity, forecast,and performance reports.
- Establish and monitor short-and long-term salesgoals, including KPIs for individual and team performance.
- Manage and evaluate the national salesteam, providing guidanceand performance feedback.
- Ensure adherence to all TomcatUSA health, safety,and compliance standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 5 yearsof proven B2B sales experience.
- Strong technical knowledge and the ability to quickly understand complex products and solutions.(Understanding of focus marketsuch as truss manufacturing, fabrication, or entertainment riggingindustry preferred but not a must).
- Demonstrated “hunter”mindset with a track recordof generating new business and opening new markets.
- Proven abilityto close dealsand consistently deliverrevenue growth.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
Salary : $72,000 - $80,000
