Primary Purpose
Developing students' academic skills through vocational courses of study and implementing system approved curriculum. Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university
Valid Standard Health Science Technology Certification as prescribed by the Texas State Board of Educator Certification
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four year college or university preferred
Current licensure, certification or registration by a nationally recognized accrediting agency as a health professions practitioner
Registered Nurse, preferred
General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Experience:
Two (2) years of full-time wage earning experience as a health professions practitioner utilizing one or more of the licensure(s) required for practice in a specific health profession

Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, pulling, and pushing. Move small stacks of textbooks, media equipment, desks, and other classroom equipment.
