Role Description The Electrical Quality Engineer is a full-time, on-site role located in Seguin, TX. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining electrical quality standards and procedures for fuel tanks, generator enclosures, and related products. Day-to-day tasks include performing inspections and tests on electrical systems and components, reviewing engineering drawings and specifications for compliance, and documenting quality findings and corrective actions. The Electrical Quality Engineer collaborates closely with design, production, and project teams to address nonconformities, improve processes, and ensure products meet UL requirements and internal quality goals. Additional responsibilities include supporting root cause analysis, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and preparing reports and documentation for audits and customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Engineering and Quality Management for developing and maintaining effective quality systems and processes.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance for monitoring production, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with standards.
- Candidates should possess skills related to Product Quality for evaluating electrical components and systems and sustaining consistent performance in manufactured products.
- Relevant experience with electrical systems, industrial equipment, or power generation products is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, UL standards, and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
