What are the responsibilities and job description for the Continuous Improvement Specialist position at Tomball Controls?
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies and initiatives for process improvements across the company
- Implement and manage CI (Continuous Improvement) initiatives utilizing Lean and Six Sigma Methodologies
- Develop pipeline of future improvement projects
- Mentor and coach team members thru the improvement process
- Work across the organization to ensure KPI’s and performance metrics are captured correctly and appropriately reported
- Leverage best practices from across the organization to help drive value and consistency
- Act as a change agent in the organization, challenge the status quo
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial engineering / operational excellence or relevant experience
- Five (5 ) or more years of relevant experience preferred in the application of Lean tools
- Experience in facilitating Kaizen events required
- Experienced in effectively leading improvement initiatives, utilizing Lean and/or Six Sigma
- Demonstrated ability to conduct root cause analysis / implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
- Experience in facilitating Kazen events
- Ability to effectively communicate results and partner across the organization to establish relationships to drive initiatives and generate value.
