Tomarco prides itself on being the global leader in the development and sale of innovative engineering fastening systems and application solutions. Started in 1977, Tomarco designs, manufactures, and distributes non-structural engineering and design systems for construction applications.
This role, Warehouse Associate - supports day-to-day warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory handling, and general organization of materials. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES (other duties may be assigned as required):
- Work safely with all equipment you’re authorized to operate and use equipment and supplies responsibly to minimize waste
- Customer Satisfaction—Ensure you provide a positive customer experience every time. This is our highest priority and the key to our success. Treat all customers with respect and provide top notch service to our customers.
- Friendly to your co-workers, customers, and vendors.
- Previous experience working with basic hand/power tools, read tape measure and detail drawings.
- Orders—Pull orders and deliver to the job sites safely, accurately, and on time.
- Paperwork—Submit all required paperwork daily. Ensure Inventory accuracy by doing weekly counts and inventory adjustments.
- Keep a clean appearance and be organized and punctual.
- Performs other duties as assigned - The employee might be asked to perform duties not listed in this job description, but which are also considered to be essential to the employment position.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High School degree/GED or equivalent.
2 years’ experience in general assembly work or specialized training.
Experience with power and hand tools is a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to effectively communicate (orally and in writing) within the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Basic math and communication skills required.
Further Qualifications—The successful candidate must pass a background check.
