Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components following detailed schematics, and engineering specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Wire and troubleshoot electrical systems
- Assemble and troubleshoot pneumatic systems
- Use precision measuring instruments to verify component dimensions and system tolerances during assembly and maintenance tasks
Skills
- Experience working with mechanical and electrical systems
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools and wiring
- Basic understanding of pneumatics
- Good grasp of PLC programming
- Ability to read and if necessary, create electrical and pneumatic schematics
- Bonus points for painting and welding experience
- Preferably knows how to drive a forklift
