Tom Wood Ford in Indianapolis, IN is searching for dedicated and skilled Express Lane Service Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, efficient individual with basic automotive knowledge, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance services quickly and efficiently
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify necessary repairs or maintenance
- Ensure proper documentation of all services performed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating vehicle issues and repair recommendations clearly
- Stay updated on automotive technology and repair techniques
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow
- Perform minor repairs, such as replacing air filters, wiper blades, and light bulbs
- Adhere to company policies and standards for service quality and customer satisfaction
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs
- Other responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
- Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
- Required- Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
