Tom Wood Toyota, in Whitestown, IN is looking for an Appraisal & Acquisition Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and highly organized to create a seamless and customer-focused experience for each service guest.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively engage with customers on the service drive to assess interest in selling or trading their vehicles.
- Perform accurate, real-time appraisals of vehicles using market tools.
- Present purchase offers to customers in a clear, professional, and compelling manner.
- Coordinate with sales, service, and used car teams to ensure smooth handoffs and transitions.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, appraisals, offers, and outcomes.
- Monitor wholesale market trends and adjust offers accordingly to remain competitive.
- Build trust and rapport with service customers to enhance their overall dealership experience.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle makes, models, market values, and reconditioning costs.
- Proficient in using dealership management systems (DMS) and appraisal tools, such as vAuto, VinSolutions, UVeye, etc.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple purchasing channels.
- Required-valid driver’s license, with clean record
