Now Hiring: Retail Sales Consultant | Tom's Carpet & Flooring Chattanooga, TN
Tom's Carpet Outlet is the largest flooring retailer in Chattanooga and we're growing. We're looking for a full-time Sales Consultant to join our small, tight-knit team and help customers make one of the biggest decisions in their home.
You don't need flooring experience. You need to be coachable, curious, and genuinely want to help people. We'll teach you everything else.
What you'll do:
- Help customers find the right flooring for their home, budget, and lifestyle
- Learn a proven sales process no cold pressure tactics, no gimmicks
- Build long-term relationships with customers who trust your advice
- Work alongside a small team that shares knowledge and celebrates wins together
What we're looking for:
- Someone with integrity, a strong work ethic, and great communication skills
- Some retail or sales experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- Comfortable learning new software/tools (we'll train you)
- Reliable and ready to work full-time, Monday–Saturday
- As part of our process, we ask every applicant to begin their answer to the first screening question with the word 'Blueprint.
