We are a Paving & Sitework Construction Company seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager / Estimator to lead projects from pre-construction through completion. This role combines estimating, client management, project oversight, budgeting, scheduling, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in both office and field environments while managing multiple projects and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare project estimates, bids, proposals, budgets, and scopes of work
- Manage projects from planning through completion, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget goals are met
- Lead project teams and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
- Track project costs, profitability, change orders, and forecasting
- Review plans, specifications, and project documents; perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis
- Conduct site visits, client meetings, and project progress reviews
- Prepare permits, reports, and required project documentation
- Support business development efforts and maintain strong client relationships
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and construction regulations
- Collaborate with operations, project management, and leadership teams to achieve project objectives
Qualifications:
- 3 years of estimating, construction management, project management, or related experience
- Strong understanding of construction methods, budgeting, scheduling, and cost control
- Experience reviewing plans, specifications, and bid documents
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating/project management software
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required depending on experience
