JOB SUMMARY

Role and Responsibilities
- Take lead on design of finishes, client material selection process and drawing updates.
- Act as a point of contact with clients for project updates.
- Take responsibility for finish material section in budget preparation.
- Work closely with Site Supervisor and Controller to merge information from the field and the office.
- Assist in sourcing materials.
- Track finish material and hardware from order through delivery and install.
- Assist with identifying and documenting change orders.
- Take part in creation of schedule and follow up on schedule adherence.
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors responsible for completing various phases of the project.
- Procure & distribute drawings and specifications when needed.
- Ensure that all project documents are complete. Monitor and update all project documents stored in the Current Projects folder.
- Attend kick off and progress meetings as needed.
- Work with drafter as needed.
- Maintain data in various software formats.
- Assist General Contractor and miscellaneous tasks as needed.
Preferred Skills
- Interior Design experience is required.
- Previous construction industry experience is required.
- Previous office, administrative or assistant experience is required.
- Proficient computer skills. Extensive knowledge of Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook expected.
- Understanding of OneDrive, JobTread, Chief Architect (or CAD), and Sage 100 Contractor a plus.
- Exceptional phone and customer service skills.
- Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Position entails flexibility and the ability to multi-task.
