What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Sales - Northern NV position at Tom Duffy Company?
This position is in the Company’s business of selling flooring installation supplies and finished goods and performing such other services as may be related to the selling of said products. The Employee is required to devote 100% of his/her entire working time, attention, and energies to the business of the Company, subject to the direction and control of the Company, and shall to the best of his/her ability make every effort to sell the goods and merchandise of the Company to his/her assigned accounts and/or territory.

- Covers the accounts assigned to them in the manner prescribed by the Company.
- Makes sales calls a minimum of five (5) working days per week, exempting Holidays, to furthering the Company’s sales, plus other work as may be designated for the benefit of the mutual interest of Employee and Company.
- Places products and displays with retail customers in assigned coverage area.
- Promptly submits weekly sales reports of sales calls once per week, or as required by management.
- Works on Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, and nights as necessary. (i.e., customer conventions, specials sales, etc.)
- Participates in Company functions when directed by management. (i.e., sales meetings, training meetings, customer conventions, etc.)
- Provides sales training and technical services focused on building sales for our Hardwood, Laminate, LVT, WPC and Sheet Vinyl product lines.
- Must posse a valid driver’s license, clean DMV, and ability to drive a motor vehicle.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- 3 years of outside sales and/or sales management experience in the “Sales to Retail” and/or commercial flooring business.
- Must live in or adjacent to the territory area
