What You'll Do
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical failures on heavy equipment to include excavators, loaders, dozers, tractors, and more.
- Repair and maintain equipment from John Deere, Caterpillar, Case, Komatsu, Liebherr, and other major manufacturers.
- Perform preventative maintenance and field repairs on-site for customers across the Phoenix area.
- Complete accurate service reports and document time, parts, and repairs.
- Keep your service truck stocked, organized, and ready to roll.
- Represent Tolmachoff Mechanical professionally at every job site.
- Work safely and keep growing your technical skills.
What We're Looking For
- 3 years of diesel or heavy equipment repair experience. Diesel Technology grads with less experience are welcome to apply.
- Solid experience troubleshooting electrical systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and sharp problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Professional, customer-facing communication skills.
- Moderate computer skills for service reports and documentation.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Your own professional set of tools to include wrench sets, socket sets, air tools, etc.
- Fabrication and welding experience is a plus.
