What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse (RN) - Allergy & Asthma position at Tollgate Allergy & Asthma?
There is a Part time & Per-Diem allergy nurse RN position available for Allergy and Asthma Specialty practice in Warwick. A nurse is needed on Tuesdays from 9 - 5 and Thursdays from 9-7.
Responsibilities
- Caring for both adults and children with asthma and various allergy-related conditions
- Prepare patients for examinations and perform routine diagnostics (check blood pressure, administer allergy injections and allergy tests)
- Obtain Prior Authorization for medications.
- Monitor and record patient’s condition and document provided care services
Skills
- Proven nursing experience
- Compassionate with good communication skills
- Excellent teamwork skills
Experience
- Prior ICU or ER experience is preferred but not required
*Per-diem requirements are 4 shifts per month minimum, (2 Tuesday's minimum & 2 Thursday's minimum)
