Duties
- Clear and reset tables swiftly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area.
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Assist servers with bussing duties, including refilling water glasses, removing used dishes, and supporting guest needs.
- Support food preparation and plating when needed, adhering to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of service stations, dining areas, and kitchen surroundings in compliance with health regulations.
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders or assist with guest transactions when required.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure seamless service flow.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and food safety regulations.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods during shifts.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations including serving, bussing, and basic food preparation is a plus.
- Prior banquet or hotel experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory; enthusiasm for hospitality is key.
