Busser/Food Runner

Job Summary
Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Busser/Food Runner, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests. In this dynamic role, you will support the service staff by ensuring tables are cleared promptly, delivering food and beverages efficiently, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. Duties

• Clear and reset tables swiftly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area.
• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
• Assist servers with bussing duties, including refilling water glasses, removing used dishes, and supporting guest needs.
• Support food preparation and plating when needed, adhering to food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of service stations, dining areas, and kitchen surroundings in compliance with health regulations.
• Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders or assist with guest transactions when required.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure seamless service flow.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
• Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and food safety regulations.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods during shifts.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations including serving, bussing, and basic food preparation is a plus.
• Prior banquet or hotel experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory; enthusiasm for hospitality is key.
