Duties
- Lead and supervise bartending staff to ensure efficient and friendly service during all shifts
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Oversee food service operations, ensuring proper food handling, safety standards, and presentation in both bar and dining areas
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately, perform retail math calculations, and reconcile cash drawers at shift end
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for catering, banquet events, or nightclub service to deliver seamless guest experiences
- Manage inventory levels for beverages and supplies, placing orders as needed to prevent shortages
- Enforce responsible serving practices and monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment
- Train new team members on POS systems like Aloha and Micros, customer service protocols, and food safety procedures
- Assist in scheduling staff shifts based on anticipated business volume to optimize labor efficiency
- Foster a lively yet professional atmosphere that encourages teamwork and high-quality service
Skills
- Extensive experience with restaurant or food industry settings, especially fine dining or nightclub environments
- Proficiency in POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and sales calculations
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol serving practices
- Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus; familiarity with retail math for inventory management is beneficial
- Ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in brewing or hospitality industries enhances your ability to connect with diverse guests
- Effective communication skills for training staff and coordinating with team members across departments
