Customer Experience Sales Representative

Tokai Carbon GS is looking to add to its world class team of highly trained and skilled personnel. We provide carbon and graphite solutions for Aerospace, EDM, Fuel cell and Semiconductor markets. Tokai Carbon GS has earned a reputation for leading the industry in precision manufacturing.

Essential Functions:

• Manage Daily Requests for Quotations from Customers
• Process Purchase Orders from Customers/Order Entry
• Provide support to the Outside Sales Team
• Provide Customers with status updates on jobs
• Complete & Document Quote Follow Up
• Utilize Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) to document customer interaction
• Comply with TCGS Standards of Operations
• Demonstrate TCGS Quality Statement
• Multi-task effectively to service demanding customers in a fast-paced environment
• Follow Work Instructions
• Professional communication with customers – both verbally and via e-mail
• Communicate cooperatively and effectively with co-workers and supervisors
• Participate in customer re-engagement activities
• Effectively utilize TCGS ERP System to perform daily tasks
• Effectively utilize Microsoft Office to perform daily tasks
• Analyze manufacturing costs to determine profitability
• Gain understanding of the industries and applications serviced by TCGS
• Provide coverage/support while team members are out of office
• Assist with special projects as needed
• Strive to meet corporate Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

Non-Essential Functions:

• Work in office ~ 90% of the time; Work on special projects in shop or warehouse ~ 10% of the time as needed
• Customer visits may be requested
• Light physical work (some lifting, walking, stairs)

Education: Associate Degree Required / Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Experience:

• 3 years in customer service-related position
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Experience with an ERP system preferred

Compensation:
Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to the candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $28.00-$30.00 per hour.
