What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Tojo's Kitchen?
Located in the heart of Paramus, NJ is our first brick and mortar restaurant, where we specialize in modern Japanese ramen. We are known for our bold ramen flavors, our consistent use of fresh ingredients, and our outstanding customer service. We take pride in our distinguished recipes that were researched and originated from abroad.
We are looking for awesome Servers to join our team!
Job Duties:
- Greet guests in a friendly and respectable manner
- Maintain complete knowledge and understanding of menu items
- Take orders on paper, legibly and with attention to detail/special requests (ie allergies)
- Ensure guests’ needs are met by keeping beverages full, providing additional condiments and/or food items, providing the check, etc
- Maintain general cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Perform additional responsibilities as noted by the restaurant manager
- Support other areas of the restaurant as needed
The position is for either part-time or full-time employment. Salary is $9.00 /hour + pool tip. Compensation negotiable after training.

Tojo Kichen は日本の家庭料理をアメリカの現地の方に知ってもらう為に日本料理が浸透していない地域にお店を出店します。場所はGarden State Plaza Westfield mallの一角にありますので、仕事終わりや前にもショッピングできるLocation になっております。オーナーの方は日本人の方で優しい方で、楽しくかつ一緒に日本料理を提供してくださる方を募集しています。シフトは２週間毎に作成し、スタッフの方は食事補助とニューヨークから来られる方には交通費支給します。給料、その他詳細につきましては面接時に説明させていただきます。週２から3回の勤務から受け付けておりますので、興味がある方は是非ご連絡ください。
