About the Role
The Operations Manager is responsible for supervising drivers, coordinating daily dispatch operations, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining excellent service performance. This is a hands-on leadership position in a fast-paced last-mile delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily dispatch and route operations
- Supervise and support a team of delivery drivers
- Ensure safety compliance and FedEx service standards
- Monitor route performance, service levels, and delivery efficiency
- Assist with driver hiring, onboarding, and training
- Manage driver schedules, attendance, and performance
- Communicate operational updates with FedEx terminal management
- Resolve route issues and operational challenges quickly
Qualifications
Previous leadership experience in logistics, transportation, or delivery operations
Strong communication and team management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
Organized and dependable
Preferred Experience
