Description:
Job Summary:
The Route Driver will operate a service truck and drive to various routed locations to clean and service portable restrooms, holding tanks, and trailers.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintains truck logs according to state and federal regulations.
- Operates service truck on designated route to work sites based on routing information.
- Maintains contact with dispatch and supervisor and communicates frequently with customers and job superintendents.
- Services portable restrooms, holding tanks, sinks, trailers etc., located at work sites by following the Company’s route driver guidelines.
- Stocks paper products, hand sanitizer, soap, etc. in all units being serviced.
- Cleans interior and exterior of units and add deodorizer solution to portable restroom units.
- Follows all established safety rules & regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills including active listening.
- Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year commercial driving experience
- Class A or B CDL license or;
- Combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work weekends.
- Must be able to stand and walk, sometimes long distances
- Must be able to use and reach with hands and arms.
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
- Must be able to lift up to 150 pounds
