The Tofurky warehouse is a fast-paced environment, with a team of dedicated individuals committed to the highest standards of Safety, Quality, and productivity. Tofurky Warehouse Technicians are responsible for loading and unloading trucks, order fulfillment, receiving, and storing of raw ingredients and finished goods.
Essential Functions

Order Building
- Responsible for accurately building and staging orders based on pick ticket(s)
- Responsible for transacting, moving, labeling, and managing warehouse inventory both physically and systematically in e Plex. This requires use of both hand-held RF scanners and computers.
- Truck Loading
- Responsible for loading and unloading trucks both physically and systematically in the PLEX.
- Ensures correct documentation is exchanged.
- Inventory Management
- Physical movement of finished goods, ingredients and general within the warehouse
- Reads Plex inventory screens to find locations, lot codes, container status and quantity.
- Use appropriate material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, forklift, etc.)
- Warehouse and Equipment Competency
- Safe and proper use of forklifts and pallet jacks is required.
- Participates in maintaining warehouse cleanliness and equipment inspections.
- Adheres to all policies and procedures relating to food safety, GMP, and company policies.

Physical Demands
- Must have the ability to repetitively lift, push, and pull 50 pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reach
- Effectively work in cold storage environments (freezer and Coolers)
- Must have the ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Must have the ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance
- Must have the ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Must have the ability to read information in small, medium, and large print
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is an hourly, non-exempt position. Typically 8-hour days, 5 days per week Monday through Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Flexibility in the work schedule is required to accommodate business needs. Occasionally required to work on weekends.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (G.E.D.) is preferred
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred
- Experience operating a forklift, pallet jacks, etc.
