Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our construction team. Our work consists mostly of residential construction and remodel, also including some light commercial/agricultural construction.
Duties
- Assist with site preparation, including heavy lifting, material handling, and setup of work areas
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as framing, shingling, and siding structures
- Support concrete formwork, rebar installation, pouring, and finishing construction according to blueprint specifications and technical drawings
- Install interior framing and hang drywall
- Follow construction plans and schematics to interpret project requirements accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite while creating a safe workplace
Qualifications
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles is helpful
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings is advantageous
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and other construction machinery
- Understanding of construction safety at all times on-site
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform demanding tasks such as roofing, framing, drywall work, siding, and flooring installation
- Valid driver’s license required
