OFFICE ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION
Todos Supermarket is a grocery store that provides various other services to customers other than produce sale. We are a big family that enjoys treating customers in a courteous manner. We are seeking a bright and dynamic candidate who enjoys working with people for a full-time Office Assistant Position. The candidate must possess good listening skills, be able to work both independently and collaboratively with managers and other departments across the company, including senior staff, to manage: office operations and client relationships.
JOB DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Provides secretarial support by copying, scanning, entering, formatting, and printing information; organizing work; answering the telephone; relaying messages; maintaining equipment and supplies.
- Translate documents from Spanish to English and vice versa.
- Keep track of documents that need to be completed and set a completion deadline.
- Write letters in English and/ or Spanish as requested by customers.
- Complete application forms as requested by customers.
- Assist team members in money services department as needed.
- Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two years of experience or more in an office environment preferred.
- MUST be fluent bilingual in Spanish and English (ability to read, speak, and write in both languages is a requirement).
- Ability to handle and maintain the confidentiality of highly sensitive information is a must.
- Must be detail oriented, be able to multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Must work well in a team environment and be able to interact with team members and customers in a professional manner.
- Must work well under pressure, excellent organizational abilities, set and meet deadlines, be able to manage several priorities in a day; must be adaptable, creative, and self-motivated.
- Must be willing to work rotating shifts, and weekends.
- Virginia Notary Commission is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
