About The Role:
We are seeking a part-time Tax Preparer to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced preparer who enjoys a flexible schedule and a collaborative, small-office environment. You will work directly with clients and firm staff to prepare a variety of tax returns and assist with bookkeeping and related accounting tasks.
This position requires proficiency with Intuit products—including QuickBooks and ProSeries—as well as Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Responsibilities
Prepare individual, partnership, corporate, and fiduciary tax returns using ProSeries
Assist with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and year-end adjustments in QuickBooks
Communicate with clients to gather and verify tax documents
Maintain organized, confidential client files and records
Stay current with relevant federal and state tax regulations
Provide general support to the firm as needed
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in tax preparation
Strong proficiency with Intuit ProSeries, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
EA or CPA designation preferred but not required

Start Date: 11/1/2025
Status: Flexible part-time schedule (40 hours per week during tax season, part time hours available after-tax season)
Location: In Office - Chester Springs, PA
Reports To: Leadership
Salary: Competitive based on experience
