Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role for an Optometrist located in Galveston Texas. The Optometrist will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing and managing eye diseases, and prescribing appropriate corrective lenses. Additionally, the Optometrist will educate patients about eye health, recommend treatment plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. The role requires maintaining accurate patient records and staying current with advancements in optometry.
Qualifications
- Proficient in performing comprehensive eye examinations and diagnosing eye conditions
- Experience in prescribing corrective lenses and managing eye diseases
- Strong patient education and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with healthcare professionals and maintain accurate patient records
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited optometry school
- Valid state optometry license
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Experience in the optometry field is a plus
