Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Electrician / Technician Helper to join our growing team. This position involves assisting licensed electricians and technicians with a variety of electrical and low voltage installation projects. The role requires weekly travel, including overnight stays in other states when needed. All travel pay and per diem will be provided for overnight travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist electricians with running wires, cabling and system installations.
- Support programming, testing and troubleshooting electrical and low voltage systems.
- Help document and create reports for each job site.
- Maintain tools, materials and equipment in a clean and organized manner.
- Follow safety procedures and standards at all times.
- Travel to various job sites Monday through Thursday (occasionally until Friday).
Work Schedule & Travel
- 32-50 hours per week, depending on project load and travel time
- Travel required weekly, with overnight stays when necessary
- Travel pay and per diem provided for overnight work
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in the electrical trade or with electrical tools
- Familiarity with construction sites, low voltage systems and electrical wiring
- Enrollment in or support for an Apprenticeship (recommended, not required)
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel out of state
- Strong work ethic, reliability and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
