Based in Washington, D.C., Today’s Pizza is known for reimagining what pizza can be. We built our reputation on bold, globally inspired flavors, such as oxtail, jerk chicken, salmon & shrimp, that have drawn customers from across the country. With 120K followers across its community, Today’s Pizza is looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Coordinator to help grow and manage our Instagram presence, tell our story, and connect with new audiences across DC.
This person will be responsible for creating engaging content for @todayspizzadc and its growing 128k followers on Instagram, highlighting our food, team, customers, and neighborhood presence. We are looking for someone who is strategic and understands how to grab attention online while still making the brand feel authentic and community-driven.
Job Description
- Engage and grow our community of 128K followers on @todayspizzadc
- Create short-form content on-site: shoot photos and videos (menu items, people, culture, brand storytelling)
- Identify opportunities to reach new audiences and grow online presence
- Ensure brand consistency and elevate brand perception across all channels
- Monitor performance metrics, including engagement, follower growth, and content trends
Qualifications
- Proven experience with social media, marketing, content creation, or a related field
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and engagement strategies
- Ability to create content that is creative, visually appealing, and aligned with the Today’s Pizza brand
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
- Based in the DC area and able to come on-site to capture content
Details
- Type: Part-time, ~20-25 hours/week
- Location: Hybrid, with some in-person content capture required
- Pay: $19–21/hour, depending on experience
