Job Summary
We are creating a new music program at Today's Generation Studio and we're looking for a creative and motivated singing teacher to help us create this new program! If you're passionate about young children having a great musical choir opportunity in Moses Lake, we'd love to talk to you!
This role involves designing and delivering dynamic music lessons tailored to preschool and elementary aged children. Candidates with experience in music and theater are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate music curricula that incorporate singing, movement, rhythm, and musical instruments
- Create and direct musical performances
- Plan engaging lesson plans that promote childhood development, behavior management, and classroom participation
- Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for young children
- Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage participation and social-emotional growth
- Document classroom activities through photography or other media to showcase student progress and program highlights
Experience
- Prior experience in choirs and musical education
- Experience with tutoring or teaching young learners
- Additional skills in classroom management, theater training, and stage experience are a bonus
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
