What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Associate-Cashier position at Toccoa Lumber Mill?
Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers
- Assist customers orders, quotes, and any questions they may have
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems
-Assists in determining delivery schedule.
-Processes sales/delivery tickets ensure prices for customers are the agreed upon prices (i.e. special pricing for Dale Kaylor etc.)
-Receives and posts statement payments to accounts (i.e. receives checks/cash payments)
-Oversees purchase orders are filled in a timely manner
-Enters PO's into system and accepts PO's based on invoice receipt
-Checks for cost changes (either knows the markup % or works with GM to determine -markup
-Maintains store price changes ensuring item changes are displayed appropriately.
-Enters inventory changes and price changes.
-Assists with cycle counts and year-end inventory as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by management

-Run bank deposit to bank and other errands as needed.
-All other duties as assigned.
