What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook position at TOC?

RESPONSIBILITIES: Line Positions (Salad Table, Grill, Roll-up and Expo), Prep and Dishwasher
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with speed and efficiency
- Preparing food in a made- from scratch kitchen before and after service periods
- Understanding and proper use of recipe and order screens
- Cleaning and maintaining kitchen, dish, and prep areas
- Shift side work to include opening and closing duties
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
- Previous cooking experience preferred
- Must obtain a Food Handler’s Card
- Proper knife skills
- Ability to operate all necessary kitchen equipment
- Ability to handle multiple orders in a timely manner
- Must handle food safely when prepping and cooking
- Follow procedures and recipes on food items
- Retain menu and product knowledge
- Proper personal hygiene
- Maintain Health Department Standards throughout shift
- Professional attitude and respect of coworkers, establishment, and the brand
WORK CONDITIONS/HOURS
Works in a typical restaurant kitchen environment to include but not limited to: flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer and food processor. Hours will vary and may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
