Primary Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Schedule patients in a timely manner and correspond with physician teams if needed
- Patient paperwork/review
- Check insurance and update demographics
- Direct patients to the right floor of building
- Direct phone calls to O&P
- Scan in SMX
- Notate within EMR important phone calls/messages
- Must posses pleasant, friendly demeanor, with ability to work independently
- Possess the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with patients, physicians, and co-workers
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadline
- Outstanding organizational, verbal and writing skills
- Independent and highly motivated
- Initiative and self-discipline
- Proven positive, "teamwork" attitude in work history
- Must be able to use arms, hands, and fingers skillfully
- Constant standing and walking
- Must be agile and able to work efficiently in space limited areas
