Key Responsibilities
As an Associate, you will work with Partners and Research Analysts on sell-side engagement, buy-side engagements, and supporting our new business efforts. Some of your primary responsibilities include:
Client Engagements
- Participate in the planning and strategizing of M&A go-to-market campaigns
- Contribute to the development of Confidential Information Memorandums
- Work with Research Analysts to compile target prospect lists
- Populate and maintain virtual data rooms
- Coordinate with attorneys and prospects to get NDAs signed
- Arrange and plan meetings with clients and prospects
- Participate with Partners in meetings with clients and prospects
- Prepare briefs, meeting notes, and action plans
- Fulfill requests for information
- Populate and maintain activities and notes in HubSpot
- Coordinate requests for information during the due diligence process
Business Development and Operations Support
- Research market opportunities
- Research individual prospects
- Prepare presentation decks
- Research best-practice solutions and technology to improve operations

Some of the possible paths to increased responsibilities and compensation include positions as a Managing Director, Non-Equity Partner, and Equity Partner.
Compensation and Benefits
Your total compensation package will include a base salary, bonuses tied to success fees on engagements, and benefits. Your starting salary will range between $80,000 and $120,000 based on experience. Our expectation is that you will earn bonuses that average between 30% and 50% of your base salary. (On engagements where the firm earns success fees/commissions, you will share in the fees.)
We will provide a monthly stipend to cover all or part of your health insurance and have an unlimited vacation and PTO policy with blackout dates around specific client events.
We operate remotely so you can work anywhere. Most of our team members are in the Eastern and Central time zones and the expectation is that wherever you are located, you will work within Eastern or Central time zone business hours.
What We Are Seeking
Experience with investment banking or M&A advisory services is strongly preferred. We are looking for team members who align with our values and bring a strong work ethic, personal initiative, attention to detail, sound business judgment, and a track record of reliable and consistent follow-through on commitments.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years in M&A, investment banking, corporate development, consulting, business brokerage, or sales or sales support-related responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- U.S. resident or authorized to work in the United States
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Familiarity with CRM
- Project management experience
