The Lawn Maintenance Crew Member is responsible for performing routine lawn and landscape maintenance services on residential and commercial properties. This includes mowing, trimming, edging, and general clean-up tasks to ensure properties are maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mow, trim, edge, and blow grass and debris from lawns, sidewalks, driveways, and other areas.
- Prune shrubs, bushes, and small trees as needed.
- Maintain flower beds by weeding, mulching, and general upkeep.
- Load and unload equipment and materials daily.
- Operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and edgers safely and effectively.
- Assist with seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, aeration, and snow removal (if applicable).
- Follow instructions from the Crew Leader to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- Ensure job sites are cleaned and left in good condition after services.
- Perform regular maintenance checks on tools and equipment; report any issues to supervisor.
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
- 1 year experience operating zero turn mowers and various lawn equipment
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Reliable transportation to work; valid driver’s license preferred.
