Position: Private Equity Analyst – San Francisco, CA. Mandatory 5 Days in Office.
Compensation & Benefits: Up to $120k, subject to experience, and carried interest across multiple funds. Full benefits (including 100% employer contribution on health insurance). Ability to invest fee-free, carry-free in TCG’s funds. Generous PTO policy, including firm-wide closures the week of the Fourth of July and between Christmas & New Year’s.
Background: Tobin Capital Group (TCG) is a Stanford Graduate School of Business-founded, tech-enabled real estate operating company and private equity firm. TCG owns and operates $540M of real estate across 67 locations, six states, and two business lines. The firm is raising its second fund ($250M, acquiring $625M of real estate) and aims to 5x its real estate portfolio within 5 years including expansion into new verticals.

Key Responsibilities of the Operations Analyst:
- Daily Operations Management of Portfolio: Support all daily operational needs of the business including day-to-day support of the front-line team.
- Operational Efficiency Analysis: Evaluate areas of inefficiency and deploy creative solutions to drive operational improvements leading to outsized business success.
- Front-Line Team Leadership: Support hiring process for new front-line team members, monthly front-line team meetings, monthly 1v1 feedback meetings, and mentor front-line team for success.
- Acquisition Management: Assist with new property onboarding, including deployment of TCG's operational playbook, and support acquisition team through due diligence.
- Training & Continuing Education Program Development: Support front-line continuing education programs and support re-design & development of a Version 3.0 comprehensive training program for new hires on the front-line and corporate team.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree. Major Agnostic, Emphasis on Demonstrated Excellence.
- Experience: 0-3 years of Private Equity, Investment Banking, Financial Consulting, Real Estate or Operating experience preferred. Culture and character fit is valued above industry experience. Prior hires have come from varied backgrounds including manufacturing, military, pharmaceuticals, consumer packaged goods, public utilities, defense contracting, non-profit, and finance.
