Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take accurate food orders with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently
- Manage food handling and food safety protocols to ensure quality and sanitation standards are maintained
- Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff to deliver timely service
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain a clean workspace by following sanitation guidelines, including kitchen equipment operation and food safety management
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions accurately, and balance cash drawers at shift end
- Ensure quick service delivery by managing customer orders promptly and efficiently in a fast-food or quick-service setting
- Support team members with serving duties, ensuring excellent customer service throughout each interaction
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or quick-service restaurant environments preferred, with knowledge of food industry standards
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong food handling skills along with understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and retail math calculations
- Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean work environment
- Retail sales experience including upselling techniques is a plus
- Food preparation experience or culinary background is advantageous but not required
