Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Cashier/Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and sales, with the ability to communicate effectively and provide an exceptional shopping experience. This role involves operating the cash register, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining stock levels on the sales floor.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash registers efficiently and accurately, processing transactions for customers.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
• Assist in selling products by demonstrating features and benefits to customers.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor, ensuring products are displayed attractively.
• Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support.
• Perform regular inventory checks and assist in restocking items as needed.
• Utilize retail math skills to manage transactions and ensure accurate pricing.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the store.
• Conduct product demos to engage customers and promote new items.

Experience

• Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a proven ability to sell products effectively.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and basic retail math is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for success in this role.
• Experience supervising or training staff is a plus but not mandatory.
