This is a full time position with day, night, and rotating weekend shifts required. Must be 18 or older to apply.
Responsibilities
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and guiding product selections
- Stock shelves efficiently by receiving deliveries, organizing merchandise, and maintaining attractive displays
- Handle cash register operations with precision, including cash handling, cash drawer balancing, and basic math calculations
- Maintain phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone inquiries or follow-up calls
- Assist in merchandising efforts to ensure the store layout is appealing and products are easy to find
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems and cash register operations for smooth retail transactions
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory counts
- Strong communication skills for engaging with customers and team members effectively
- Experience in stocking, inventory management, and merchandising within retail stores
- Knowledge of retail store product details and ability to educate customers through product demos
- Excellent phone etiquette for professional customer interactions over the phone
- Upselling skills to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
