In this role, you'll deliver exceptional service by preparing and serving high-quality gourmet toasts, juices, smoothies, and coffies and handling retail transactions with precision, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for every guest. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, retail sales, and customer engagement while working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. We are looking for front and back of house team members and shift leads.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit.
- Prepare a variety of gourmet toasts, smoothie bowls, and
- Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including smoothies, juices, coffees, espressos and other specialty drinks, following established recipes and safety standards
- Operate the POS system to process sales accurately and efficiently
- Handle retail sales transactions with cash handling expertise, ensuring proper change is given and receipts are issued
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area by cleaning tables, counters, equipment, and food preparation surfaces in accordance with food safety standards
- Assist in food handling and preparation tasks to ensure quality and safety are upheld at all times
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service standards
Qualifications
- Previous food service or café experience is preferred; barista experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
