Responsibilities

- Manage bar inventory by restocking supplies, monitoring product quality, and minimizing waste.
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate the guest experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate food and beverage service during busy periods or special events like banquets or catering functions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender with a strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, wine, and craft beer.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability in food handling, food safety practices, and basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Previous restaurant or fine dining experience preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods while maintaining quality service.
- Knowledge of beverage recipe development and an interest in brewing or spirits industry trends is advantageous.
