Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the retail managers in getting all pricing and inventory up to date for the nursery. Strong technology skills will be crucial to utilize inventory tracking system and to print price tags.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Conduct regular physical counts of inventory and reconcile discrepancies.
- Utilize Counterpoint software to input inventory counts and adjustments.
- Print price tags for nursery products and conduct regular inspections of nursery to ensure all products have a price tag.
- Input receiving inventory orders and check orders when they are received to verify quantity and quality of material.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in inventory management or supply chain management is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze data effectively and make informed decisions based on findings.
- Knowledge of retail management practices is beneficial.
- Proficient in using software applications for data entry and reporting purposes.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with team members across departments.
