What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bather position at To Wag For?
To Wag For/MCN Freshstart is looking for a bather to join our grooming team! Previous experience working with animals in a professional environment preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right person! Duties include, but are not limited to... * Bathing & blow-drying pets * Brushing &/or de-matting * General upkeep of the salon * Ability to monitor dogs for signs of distress or illness * Assisting with dog handling * Communicating in a positive manor with clients and co-workers * Following safety policy and procedure The right candidate must be dependable & punctual. Must be efficient, but thorough and able to multi-task & prioritize with little supervision. Position requires patience and the ability to handle difficult behavior in a gentle & effective manner, as the job can be challenging at times. Must have the ability to lift & work with large breeds of dogs, and no problems bending, crouching, reaching or being on your feet for long periods of time.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
