Duties
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, listening carefully to their service needs and concerns.
- Write detailed service orders, accurately documenting vehicle or equipment issues using estimating software.
- Diagnose mechanical problems with automotive diagnostics tools and mechanical knowledge, focusing on diesel engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, tire services, and oil changes.
- Perform or oversee repairs including engine work, collision repairs, fluid replacements, tire services, and other essential maintenance tasks.
- Upsell additional services or repairs that enhance vehicle safety and performance while aligning with customer needs.
- Utilize computer-aided vehicle damage estimating systems to prepare precise repair estimates for clients and insurance claims.
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding repair progress, costs, and recommended services; ensure excellent customer service throughout the process.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately during billing and payment processing.
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs performed, parts used, and customer interactions for quality assurance and compliance purposes.
- Collaborate with dealership or service management teams to ensure efficient workflow and high customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair—preferably within a dealership or similar environment.
- Familiarity with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating systems.
- Solid mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, tires, oil changes, and collision repair techniques.
- Experience in auto service management or service writing roles is highly desirable.
- Excellent client communication skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
- Ability to perform automotive diagnostics accurately using specialized tools and equipment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate various vehicles safely.
- Strong sales skills with an aptitude for upselling services that benefit both the customer and the business.
- Cash handling experience combined with a professional attitude toward client interactions.
- Must be able to pass U.A and pass randoms

Pay: $23.00 - $39.00 per hour
