Summary: 

Responsible for acquiring new customers and increasing business from existing customers based on assignment of customers and prospects.  Responsible for enhancing the overall business image and market share of the company. The Sales Executive acts as a business partner to the branch network of closings teams to maximize all sales opportunities, proactively create new opportunities and achieve company sales targets. A strong focus will be on developing and managing relationships and increasing market share. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Assist in executing sales and marketing strategies and objectives to increase market share

• Keep current on business trends in each community within the county and of the competitors' activities 

• Follow-up with both the directing and non-directing source of business immediately after order opened. 

• Work as an effective team with escrow to implement multiple touch concept as defined by the Sales and Escrow Mangers beginning with Listing or Contract Receipt through Post Closing and ongoing touch program.   

• Work with escrow and CS Order Entry to insure accurate data is input into ResWare

• Follow directives from Sales Manager regarding prospecting strategies, maintenance of prospecting/CRM databases. Assist in developing creative prospective strategies. 

• Utilize ResWare Reports, Realtor Association Reports and My MTA Reports to identify prospective customers, market share by customer (both individual and company) and track changes in market share. Review and assist in maintenance of primary and secondary customer database in ResWare 

• Act as a liaison between customers and company personnel in expediting special orders or investigating and securing settlement of complaints, and making appropriate inquiries to ascertain any special needs

• Assist escrow officers in achieving customer service goals, 

• Attend business functions within the community participating in service groups and activities to establish and promote business relationships

• Assist in coordinating and hosting training for customers within the limits of P53 and other applicable regulations

• Learn and achieve appropriate skills to become accountability and performance coach for customers (Realtors and Loan Officers). 

• Actively involved in promoting a cohesive team approach in branch escrow operations.  

• Must have a valid Driver’s License and meet the Company Driver Guidelines criteria for vehicle insurance

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

Qualification Standards/Required Knowledge: 

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

• Must be knowledgeable of sales and marketing concepts:

• Ability to understand legal documents and descriptions, escrow procedures and phraseology

• Ability to understand title and escrow rate information and communicate the information to given situations

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload 

• Ability to work independently and be proactive to problem solving

• Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with internal staff and customers

• Ability to apply logical and critical thinking, always keeping the integrity of the company in the forefront of any decision

• Must display exceptional professionalism in circumstances of high pressure and heavy workload and have the ability to shift priorities and work as a team player in a fast paced work environment

• Ability to demonstrate prospecting, sales planning, selling to customer needs and market knowledge 

• Ability to create and present PowerPoint Presentations 

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and the general public

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications 

• Must have a valid Driver’s License and meet the Company Driver Guidelines criteria for vehicle insurance

 

Experience:                   

Two years’ experience in the sales and marketing field.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to travel, walk, sit at a desk, intermittently twist to reach equipment surrounding desk, use telephone and operate office equipment.
