JOB TITLE: Truck Mechanic

Location: Midland

Report to: Shop Manager

TNT is looking to add an experienced full-time Truck Mechanic to our growing Branch. The following are a list of requirements; You must meet all the requirements below to be considered for this position.

Summary: The truck mechanic will perform maintenance and repairs on pickup trucks, and shop equipment. Follows all State and Federal laws while operating motor vehicles. Follows all safety and environmental policies while performing job tasks.

Responsibilities:

· Must be able to perform scheduled maintenance on pick-up trucks, and all other equipment.

· Must be able to troubleshoot and perform repairs on all systems (electrical, mechanical, etc.) on pick-up trucks, and all other equipment.

· Must be able to document all maintenance and repairs performed on the equipment and file records properly.

· Must be able to verbally communicate Safety issues to Customers and other workers on location before and during job task.

· Reports to Supervisor and/or Lead Mechanic on completion of assigned job task for next assignment.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or GED preferred

· At least (2) year experience as a mechanic in an automotive, trucking or heavy equipment environment, or any equivalent combination of education and experience is a plus.

· Ability to safely lift over 50 lbs.

· Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.

· Trade school diploma preferred

· Must have a current Texas Department of Public Safety class C Driver's License

· (2) years of Power Stroke experience preferred
