Job Summary:
We are seeking a Line Cook to join the team at our high volume restaurant. In this position, you will be responsible for using quality ingredients to prepare our delicious menu items for our customers. The ideal candidate is experienced, creative, and committed to creating an excellent experience for our patrons.

In this position, you will be responsible for using quality ingredients to prepare our delicious menu items for our customers. The ideal candidate is experienced, creative, and committed to creating an excellent experience for our patrons.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Preparing food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
- Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
- Maintain appropriate levels of inventory and restock when necessary
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Answer, report and follow kitchen manager's instructions
Requirements:
- Proven cooking experience as a restaurant cook or prep cook
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, recipes, equipment, and procedures
- Attention to detail and cleanliness
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
- Availability to work various shifts, including weekends & holidays
- Reliable Transportation
