Treatment Sales Coordinator
This position requires you to be bilingual. You must be fluent in both English and Spanish, verbally and in writing.
We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and patient-focused Treatment Sales Coordinator to join our dental team.
This is not just a front desk or administrative position. The Treatment Sales Coordinator will play a key role in helping patients understand the treatment they need, addressing their concerns, discussing financial options, and ultimately helping them move forward with their care.
The ideal candidate is confident discussing treatment plans and fees, comfortable with sales, excellent at building trust with patients, and motivated by performance and results. You should be able to connect with patients, overcome objections professionally, and follow up consistently to help patients move forward with recommended treatment.
This position offers a base pay of $30 per hour, along with a performance-based bonus structure. A successful, high-performing Treatment Sales Coordinator has the opportunity to earn up to $100,000 per year in total compensation.
Key ResponsibilitiesTreatment Plan Presentation & Sales
- Present recommended treatment plans to patients in a clear, professional, and easy-to-understand manner.
- Build trust and rapport with patients while helping them understand the importance and value of their recommended treatment.
- Discuss treatment costs, payment options, financing, and available solutions to help patients move forward with care.
- Confidently address patient concerns and objections while maintaining a patient-first approach.
- Follow up with patients who have not accepted treatment and work to re-engage them.
- Maintain strong treatment acceptance and conversion rates.
- Track opportunities and consistently follow up with unscheduled treatment.
Patient Retention & Relationship Building
- Develop strong relationships with patients and create a positive experience from the initial consultation through completion of treatment.
- Help retain existing patients by following up on outstanding treatment and encouraging patients to continue their care.
- Work with patients who may be hesitant, concerned about cost, or delaying treatment to find appropriate solutions.
- Ensure patients feel informed, supported, and confident in their decision to proceed with treatment.
Financial Coordination
- Explain treatment fees and review available payment and financing options.
- Assist patients with payment arrangements when appropriate.
- Help patients navigate financing options and ensure financial arrangements are completed before or as treatment begins.
- Maintain accurate financial records and patient account information.
Scheduling & Case Management
- Schedule patients for recommended treatment and follow-up appointments.
- Monitor incomplete and unscheduled treatment plans and maintain consistent follow-up.
- Help ensure patients stay on track with their treatment plans and appointments.
- Coordinate with doctors and clinical team members to ensure a smooth transition from diagnosis to treatment.
Insurance & Administrative Responsibilities
- Verify insurance benefits and coverage when needed.
- Assist with insurance-related questions, claims, payments, and account updates.
- Help manage patient accounts, balances, collections, and payment activity.
- Support front office operations and help maintain an organized and efficient workflow.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with doctors, clinical staff, front office team members, and management.
- Communicate effectively regarding patient treatment plans, scheduling needs, financial arrangements, and follow-up.
- Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and contribute to the overall growth and success of the practice.
- Be willing to assist with other duties as needed in a fast-paced dental environment.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is results-driven, personable, confident, and comfortable selling healthcare services.
- Previous experience as a Dental Treatment Coordinator, Treatment Sales Coordinator, Financial Coordinator, or similar role is strongly preferred.
- Previous dental or medical office experience is required.
- Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing fees and financing is highly preferred.
- Strong sales, communication, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
- Proven ability to build rapport and earn the trust of patients.
- Comfortable following up with patients and asking for the commitment to move forward with treatment.
- Experience with dental or medical billing and insurance is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental practice management software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation
- Base Pay: $30 per hour
