Responsibilities:
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
- Transport refrigerated/dry freight and cargo efficiently along assigned interstate routes
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and roadworthiness
- Maintain accurate driver logs and records in accordance with DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Load, secure, and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling at all times
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or issues
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all Hours of Service (HOS) regulations
Requirements:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Clean MVR and satisfactory driving history
- Must meet DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) rules
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused with excellent communication skills
